So through six games against the Pirates and Giants the Reds haven't gained or lost ground on St. Louis.

Pitchers have to have a different makeup to be Closers and 8th-inning setup guys; and, hitters have to have a different makeup to raise their game to hit with RISP.
I believe we have lost 1 game in the loss column to STL since the ASB.
Only 9 weeks left in the regular season.
Reds have 61 games left.

Reds fans not providing much home team support late.
Reds 5-2 in the last seven but have dropped ground to the 5-1 Cards in the same span.
Sunday's win by the Pirates may be their biggest win of the year. Would have been nice to hang an 0-3 on them to start the second half doubts.

Agreed. It's hard to win a division with 2 other teams looking like they'll win 100 games. I'd say St Louis finishes with 102 and the Pirates 95 wins. I think the Reds need 92 to get in.

I still think they'll make a run at the division, but it's hard to disagree with this.

Lot of baseball left. The bats are waking up. As long as we can get within 4 in the loss by Sep 1, we have a 50-50 chance to win the Division.
