Never have gotten the sock fetish - I prefer the long pants (so long as they're properly fitted and not slopping around the heels of their cleats).

Zito's been awful on the road, so we still have a shot to score a bunch

Man I remember thinking Lidle was a decent pitcher for the Reds.

    He had a 5.32 ERA.

That's my first 10 years of a fan in a nutshell.

Travis Wood, Lecure, & Cingrani all did well on early call-ups.

I'm giving it until the 4th-5th and seeing where we're at before I decide.

I think I'm going with a midnight curfew for myself...unless something good happens.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

We'll just have to disagree on that.

(Actually, I prefer stirrups over solid-color socks, but solid socks over ankle-length pants--or longer.)
