"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Dodgers is short for 'trolley dodgers'. LOL.
A summer watching a bad Reds' team, is still a pretty good summer.

I guess it makes me old, but I look at a Dodger line-up and see Crawford and I automatically think of Willie Crawford who was a mainstay for LA during the BRM era and usually did well against the Reds. I barely remembered that Carl Crawford played for LA since the Reds play them so infrequently. Times have changed.

Having better players makes "the right time" or "the big hit" happen a lot more often. PLUS PLUS

Latos is due for a monster 8-9 inning outing. Hope it's tonight.

If George Grande finds a way to mention that Tim Flannery did the wedding service for Chris Welsh and his wife....and it's only good in California.....I will stab baby koala bears.
