Finally back to the season high mark of 15-over. Been a long, frustrating ride at times to finally make it back to 15-over.

I have no confidence in Homer. Sorry, but he is either off or on. I hope for the best.

Good test for Homer tomorrow night vs. Kershaw in the big lights of LA. Statistically, Homer's been excellent this year. But I know what you mean, it's ace city or kind of a clunker lately.

there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

Not true. Check out the Cardinals' schedule the next six weeks. The division is not over by a long shot.

we have a chance to gain a ton of ground in the next couple weeks, with cards vs pirates for 5 and reds vs cards in cincy. if we're still far out after that then I'd have to agree the division will be all but out of reach realistically. but right now it could still happen

Nonsence. Redbirds have 3 with Atlanta, 5 at Pittsburgh, 3 at Cincinnati and 4 with the Dodgers. With a little luck we could be in first by this time next week. Probably not, but there are still 60 games to go. Still have a fair chance to win the Division if we start playing well.

    Strangest play.
I saw Ozzie Smith once steal second... but he thought the pitch was fouled off and started jogging back to first. Got in a rundown. Catcher dropped the ball and I guess Ozzie saw the ball bounce and assumed the batter hit it. Stuff happens.

Mathematically, yes, but realistically, hard. But in postseason anything can happen. Reds are on fire, but you never know. I like the chances of bypassing Pittsburgh better that winning the division.
