Joey has done that a lot this year and I can't figure out why. He didn't seem to do it so much in previous years.

Homer blows away Puig in three pitches...

Only to have to face his nemesis...

Flyout to Bruce in right, and the baserunners are worked around. Still no score.

Major props to Joey and Homer for that inning.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Bailey is not gonna strikeout Puig every time. But when you have the ability to crank it up a notch, as Bailey just did, you will limit runs over the long run.

Every time Adrian Gonzalez comes up to bat, I feel like I've been transported to a Mexican restaurant temporarily.
