Lets beat the hell out of Heisey on here because one of the top 3 pitchers in the game got the best of him.

Need a short, compact swing and a game-tying knock there, not a hero blast.
Looked to me like he was just trying to make solid contact against a very tough pitcher.

Nobody *expected* Heisey to get a hit off one of the best pitchers in the game. However, it's not unrealistic to ask a professional to give a better AB there.

You may have a different definition of "beating the hell" out of someone, too.

No beating--just stating the obvious. Sure as you know what better than Zach in the two hole

    Time to get a run.

Nah. He's a good 4th OF and a starter on some teams.

Vin Scully talking about growing up watching Mel Ott. That's why I don't care if he makes mistakes or just reads facts.

He seems to have regressed from a good 4th OF to a 5th OF over the past couple of seasons. Brady Clark but not as good.
