Worst hitter in the game just got a hit off the best pitcher.

Or at least close to it.

Corky has the acceleration of a 5 ton rock.

Corky throws out Puig and then gets a hit off Kershaw? Seriously? What will he do next, steal 2nd and 3rd?

Do you think that was the first time any pitcher has thrown to first to hold Corky?

Good call on the play Dusty/Homer, even if it didn't work out.
They don't think it be like it is, but it do.

That's a situation in which a K would have been better. There was very little chance of anything else working with Corky running and Homer batting.

I really didn't see any way that wasn't going to end in a DP with Corky running. Props to Dusty for trying something anyways.

He'll do it without sliding and on one pitch.

I think runs are going to be scarce in this game.

Really, Vin, Choo is from Pusan? That's only the 7th time you've mentioned it in two games!

Brandon Phillips style (but it'll work, and without needing Adam Dunn batting to have the shift to run on)

The Reds have been fortunate to avoid some good pitchers the last few weeks (other than PIT last weekend), but that's not happening in this series. I'll be very happy if we can split this one.

Weird stutter-stride on that swing by Ellis.
