Now granted I love Scully, but I'm not seeing how the 'big black stallion' comment, particularly in the context it was used, could at all be construed as offensive.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

I wonder how long it will take for that to be on ESPN's front page.
I know he didn't mean anything by it, but not the best wording, to be sure.

I love Scully, too. Not necessarily offensive ... just a bit cringeworthy.

Redlegs go in order after Bruce ties it up.

Man, Frazier's swing just looks ridiculous when he hits little infield rollers. So much wasted motion.

Yeah, blue's not very consistent in the early going. Pretty sure that called strike was a ball in the same AB

The strike zone has varied depending on who is hitting the whole series.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.
