Votto sinks one to left-center for a double. Here's hoping we can do something with it this time.

4 hitter feels like a 7 hitter at best. One injury has completely decimated this lineup.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

That was a very unproductive out by BP.

You swing at enough of them, yeah, you're gonna hit a few. Reference 40yr's post. I know you like to play the role of contrarian whenever someone questions the team or manager negatively, but those stats are pretty telling.

I could make a sarcastic quip about BP as the MVP, but I like to think I'm above that.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

With games like today, it's hard to believe the Reds are in the top half of MLB in BA against lefties. It seems like every time they face a lefty they get dominated. Cap is horrible, and they should be drilling him. Sigh...
