    Re: 7/28/13 - Reds v. Trolley Dodgers

Just tuned in about an inning ago, can't believe this one is still going on. 19 strikeouts?

Partch in a 0-0 game for a second inning? Interesting strategy. But man he looks like he may be a longer term part of the pen.

Is Chapman overworked after pitching 2 innings since a week ago Saturday?

Reds have now struck out twenty batters in this game. Astonishing performance. MLB record is 26 Ks in a very long extra inning game.

I wish I had some stats on the Reds' distribution of runs scored. Their aggregate numbers are good in the offensively challenged National League. But it just seems that they waste so many brilliant pitching performances . . . .

why? since when do k's count as anything but an out? I posted this in a previous game thread: You can strike out all 27 batters and still lose 50-0.
    Is it "next season" yet?

I expected a lot more. Like beating a team with a .500 record every once i awhile.

    Well, Brutus called it.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
