They never should be split especially with Ludwick out. Bruce is better vs. lefties and Votto simply goes from MVP level to all-star level vs. lefties. I see it being one of those games where the Reds score a few runs in the first and then Volquez settles down for a few and Redszone explodes over it.
Also, while Mike Leake is obviously superior to Sean O'Sullivan, I like how almost nobody has commented on how inept/pathetic/adjective the Padres offense has looked tonight. It's almost like the Reds aren't the only team finding runs consistent offense hard to come by.

That being said, I think Leake is a prime candidate for an extension buying out a couple of FA years this offseason, depending on the signals Homer and Mat send.
