    Long term or right now?

The Reds are still in the upper 75 percentile of baseball in runs scored. They're putrid at the moment. But the overall body of work suggests it's not in all that dire a predicament.

Frazier just looks bad. I mean, no one is even hitting the ball hard.

I really don't know what's going on. I tried to be the good husband and watch it with her, but that ended as fast as the 3 innings she watched baseball. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

With the way this team is going, why would anyone ever pitch to Votto?

I wish they were on ours, it would probably improve our offensive output.

So this is what watching baseball being played in 1968 was like? No wonder football started to take over as the more popular sport.
