I hate the "7 in the loss column" thing. It's because everyone has played different numbers of games. It'll eventually even out.

    Until then....phtphrphtphtphtpht

The Cards, believe it or not, finish their series with the Bucs, play in Cincy, and then face the Dodgers in St. Louis. Without Molina.

Over the next week or so, I think the Bucs are the bigger threat to put the division completely out of reach, so I'll root for the Cards in this Bucs series.
You said it better than me Kc.

I don't know if I did, you were pretty articulate.

Near term, having checked, the Pirates have the easier schedule.

In September, the Cards do have a rather easy stretch of games.

Cards do have four with LA and four with Braves in St. Louis. Also continue to play the Reds and Bucs many times.

One thing against the Bucs is they have the most home games played, so most road games to come.

So it's not obvious, but for now I think it's time for the Bucs to lose a few.

I doubt we could tell the difference between his straight steal and his delayed steal

the reds have 6 against the pirates over the last 9 games of season.
there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

Ricky henderson has a higher OBP than C. patterson and he's retired. C. Trent 6-14-2008
