Everything that can be counted does not necessarily count; everything that counts cannot necessarily be counted.
All the dishes rattle in the cupboards when the elephants arrive
If this is shaping up for another 1-0 game entering the bottom of the 9th, I think I will find other plans for the ending. I don't want to see this place explode on the off chance the Reds lose 2-1 again.

Is it physically possible for Todd Frazier to hit a ball the other way? I don't know why anyone would throw him anything but soft stuff low and away. He'll flail away.
"In our sundown perambulations of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing 'base', a certain game of ball. Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms, the game of ball is glorious"

It's like deja vu all over again.
Did he go?
I was gonna rage if that wasn't a K.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
Reds again letting the Pads stay in the game by not scoring.
You look at the Reds four best hitters: Votto, Choo, Phillips, Bruce. They all hit the ball the other way consistently. Votto and Choo moreso than the others.
You think the Reds young hitters, Mesoraco, Frazier, Cozart, would say, "Hey, I wonder if there's a reason why they're so successful. Maybe I shouldn't try to yank everything to RF?" Those three will have a tough time consistently having a BA over .250 with their current approaches.

I wonder if Homer can just sit behind the mound while the Reds are batting.
