Homer is one of the least supported pitchers in the NL. He only gets an average of 3.3 runs per game in offense. On the other hand, Latos gets over 5.5 runs per game.

It was hard enough that Phillips couldn't get it....so it was pretty well hit

Yet Latos in 12 starts has a 2.92 ERA against teams over .500 and Homer has a 6.34 against the over .500 teams.

One run isn't going to do it...

Highlight of that half inning was when Homer got ahead 3-0.

If you're going to take your glasses out to the field, then please put them on.

sunglasses on top of cap doesn't work
there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

Ricky henderson has a higher OBP than C. patterson and he's retired. C. Trent 6-14-2008

    This isn't a focused team.

I make it 56 innings since the last time the Reds scored multiple runs in a frame.

Nice game for BP, need him to start mashing lefties like this again.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
