Seems entirely logical to me. We all know the world was against the Ravens. The only one who believed were the 53 guys in that locker room. Not even their moms believed in them.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

Plus everyone knows the NFL hates Harbaughs and would do anything in their power to keep a Harbaugh from winning a Super Bowl. So yes, of course the NFL was trying to keep John Harbaugh's Ravens from winning.

Also, the last time the Bengals used the old helmet design for a retro game the story was insted of buying all new helmets, they had their equipment managers take the helmets players already had, remove the stripes and add "BENGALS" to them. I don't know if that is true or not.

My opponent this week has Manning and while I also have two thumbs, that's little consolation to me right now.

I was going to say the same thing. Also, didn't the Bills and Jets both have helmets in recent years with only the team name on the sides? How about the 49ers?

Hats off to Peyton Manning. I went thru the ringer a couple years back because frankly, I thought with his neck injury he was done (apparently the Colts and Archie thought the same). I still believe he defied the odds and for that, I commend him. 37 years old and still playing like this....wow.

Not much else I can say.

Happy to see Peyton healthy and playing at an unprecedented level, that being said the Colts made the right move for all parties involved.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.

I liked the idea of Carrie Underwood replacing Faith Hill for Sunday Night, but that was a little underwhelming. Talk about trying to create high notes where there aren't any.

I thought Cleveland got some kind of exception for their "stripe" but I can't remember. Perhaps I just totally misremembered the rules about helmets. If I think of it later, I'll try to google it.

    sorry for the confusion

I've seen Peyton when he looked really sharp. He's playing better than I've ever seen. Part of it is that while he had nice weapons in Indy, he has ridiculous weapons this season.

No way his weapons are better than Marvin, Reggie, stokley, Clark, pollard and Edge.

Only player you would take over those Colts is Welker over Stokley and Edge is head and shoulders over by committee

Eh, it's close. The Thomas's are so big and athletic I think it gives them a slight edge.

Marvin had the greatest hands I've ever seen, but with the new rules (which I count as a weapon for Peyton) and the size of the guys he has with Denver, I gotta go with them. Wayne was young during Marvin's prime and wasn't quite the expert route runner he became later after Marvin was gone. So I think Decker in his prime is pretty even with a young Reggie Wayne. And as you said Welker is better than Stokely. James probably gives those Colts teams an "edge" in running backs, but I don't think in this day and age of passing first, second and third NFL its a big edge.
