    Take a Tip from Teddy

I think the Teddy story is a great one about integrating people with disabilities and I feel like they often have a surprising amount to offer. Here is Baker after Tuesday nights win:

"I wish everybody was as positive as Teddy. You know, he's a homer in every sense of the word. He's for the home team. And sometimes it appears that everybody is not as positive as Teddy even though they have more to be positive about than Teddy, you know what I mean? Here's a guy that's got a smile on his face who could be sad. A lot of people are sad that could take a tip from Teddy."

I wanted to post this in recognition of Teddy, Baker and the Reds org for making this season that much better.

Re: Take a Tip from Teddy

I worked a year in a school for kids with disabilities and I learned alot.

I was very impatient, but after 1 month this problem was solved

if you try to teach kids with disabilites you canīt be impatient!

it was nice to see how those kids enjoyed their lives and it was a pleasure to work with them.

I worked there because I didnīt want to go to the army, because Iīm pacifist and since than I visited the school and the kids once a year (at first it was fun to see the kids remember my name and how happy they are to see me again, today all the kids that went to the school finished and I donīt know the kids, but it is still nice to make a visit )

That's awesome. They mentioned on air that Teddy has a job at the guest services booth for home games now.

They all could tell that Teddy is a guy who never has a bad day. How can you not love a guy like that?
