No changes at all that help the team and you wonder why they are puttering along. Watch the Dbacks and A's sweep their butts...
As has been asked so many times, who was acquired at the deadline that would have made this team better? When 75% of the teams are in the playoff hunt no one is going to deal even spare parts.

And here we are again, regardless of whether it matters in the ultimate outcome of the game, the Reds with a feeble 2-hole hitter and two outs with a scoring threat.

Votto prepares to lead off another inning.
Rounding third and heading for home...

so doing nothing and watch the reds not make the playoffs or back into the playoffs playing .500 or less ball the past 3 months, then loose 1-0 to the Cardinals who own them this year,.. hard to see the end of the rainbow being anything brite!!

Who cares who was acquired? It's about who could have been. Hunter Pence, Rios, Byrd all could have been had.

yeah the deadline was quiet (for every team) because the view sellers wanted too much...

itīs pretty funny that lots of users donīt like the fact that our farmsystem is "empty" and that we traded prospects for (f.ex. marshall) but at the same time lots of users are angry we didnīt trade for someone at the deadline

=> they make obviously everything wrong

well i guess this will be the best they will ever be.. never step it up to go further than they did last year..this team needs a different coaching staff or a different hitting coach.. something has to change.. You cant expect more fans to buy tickets when the team doesnt take the next step.. just saying its Frustrating being the Cardinals little sister

Until they learn how to beat the Cardinals, the Reds don't deserve anything. It's so embarrassing. Over and over again.

    PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!

I, too, think there were many eggs put in the Ludwick basket, but do you expect him to have his timing down immediately upon his return after doing nothing baseball-wise since opening day?

Rolen is missed more now because he was a leader in that clubhouse.. i dont see one now.. sadly beating up the Giants was there only focus for the lousy playoff showing at home last year.. they played awesome as a team against the Giants this year. Why cant they do that against every team..

No wasted ABs on display here. They're laying the wood.
