Even the scrub catcher gets a hit to knock in a run.

    When does football start again?

That's what makes losing this series even more frustrating. Not only did we do it at home, the Cards were without Molina.

    So disappointing. Just bad baseball.

Well, that didn't get it done. Shot up the middle. Now 6-2.

    Vintage Ondrusek.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

They've taken 2-out-of-3 games in every series we've played against them this year. All four of 'em. We sure look nothing like a playoff team. Very disappointing.

Good thing Walt thinks Ryan Ludwick with no strength in one of his shoulders and his .070 batting average in the minors is the answer to the problems offensively. This season won't end well.
Yeah it's looking pretty bleak. The offseason brings with it a bunch of questions.

Good call going with Ondrusek there, Dusty.

Choo bobble, Bruce bobble, Bruce playing way too deep, Paul cutting in front of Choo, Paul bad jump and
unagressively let Craig score from 1st

Bruce cut one off well and Paul made a nice catch

    OF play today

Too many balls in the OF our ground ball guys on the mound.
