Great point, Dusty has done an awful job of manipulating guys in an out of the pen this season. The pen has really not been any good at all.

I'd seriously taken Rolen in a wheelchair at this point over Frazier.

It's been close in recent years, but yeah, it's not terribly close anymore. They've charged well out in front of us, with a full tank of gas in their farm system. I dont think the Reds's window is going to be much of a window, unless they can sneak through somehow with a favorable matchup in the postseason.

How embarrassing. This Reds team is falling about 10 notches short of expectations.

Danny Graves had 182 saves and a 112 ERA+ for the Reds. He leads the team in saves for his career by a significant margin. Only three other guys even have half as many as a Red as Graves does.

He had some real clunkers in there, but overall, he was an above-average reliever for the Reds for quite a while (1998-2002 he was really good).

I would love to see the Reds bean of the WLB's in the face right about now. Man I hate those SOB's.

Oh well, the 2nd WC spot isn't that bad. Maybe the Reds will get the final WC spot and beat St.L in a one game playoff game.

If you are at the Reds game today checking into Redszone on your smartphone please 'accidentally' spill your drink on a Cards fan. They are clapping happily in OUR stadium and it makes me mad.

Logan Ondrusek should be forced to shave off that thing he calls a mustache after that performance.

We were all waiting for the Pirates to fade.

I guess it's the Reds year

Yeah, I want guys who are better than "above average" in the HOF. I know Graves had a couple really good years, but he's not a Reds' HOF, IMO.

I also thought the guy got by on a lot of luck the couple years he was good. I mean, Coco Cordero had a couple good years too as our closer (luck-aided). Is he up for HOF consideration too? Of course not.
