    Bang for the Buck(s) - A Chart

Compare the salary and the number of hits for the 10 highest-paid hitters on each team.

That is an interesting graphic. The Marlins are inverse of the Yankees - no payroll, no hits, no wins. Interesting again that the Reds are almost exactly at the central juncture of pay and hit average - just below in both.

Re: Bang for the Buck(s) - A Chart

One thing which effects the chart is that some of these players are injured or in the minors. For example, both A Rod, Ryan Ludwick, Rafael Furcal, and Jorge Soler are in the mix. While these are still contract inefficiencies, they are for much different reasons.

Cool charts though. I really enjoyed the one with the individual players on it.

Cozart actually comes across as a decent bang for the buck. (based upon this criteria)

The Yankees could not be run any worse if it was an front office full of chimps.
