True if Hannahan hadn't gone 0-for-2013.

    Thanks, Walter.

Yes, Hannahan is a downgrade from Frazier, but the difference between the two isn't nearly as large as you are making it out to be.

frazier needs to sit some games.. he has been poor in the batterīs box the past few weeks and had problems at fielding aswell...

Hannahan deserves a shot at this point, might as well see what he can do. It can't get significantly worse.

He was decent in Cleveland as a platoon guy when he was surrounded by subpar talent and playing most games in pitchers parks in the AL Central. Hopefully Dusty gives him a reasonable chance.

Poor is giving him way too much credit.

.086/.200/.143 in 40 PAs over last 2 weeks. It's like Janish and Taveras had a baby and he didn't get any of the parents athletic ability.

Actually there's a pretty significant difference overall....especially in the area of power. The Todd can send it out of the yard. Hannahan can send it almost to the warning track.

yeah, at the moment todd canīt drive anything (perhaps his car)

thatīs a perfect example that a manager canīt do his jop in everyoneīs favour... if frazier plays lots of complaining because he sucked the past weeks

if he is out and his replacement (hannahan) plays, itīs stupid because todd has more power...

...and this is a perfect example of someone ready WAY too much into a post. My post was not a complaint about who's playing, rather a fact that Frazier has a lot more pop in his bat. In more than 1700 ABs, Hannahan has 28 HRs. Not a great deal of pop by anyone's definition.

A lot of short fuses when the Reds aren't playing well...

The Reds lead the central in homers, what has that done for them?

Either way, Hannahan had 12 homers in about a years worth of ABs in his 2 seasons in Cleveland in a pitchers park. Not really a siginificant difference, you don't have to hit it 450ft like Frazier and Wily Mo.

He's looked bad this year but until you give him a shot you don't know what you have. I believe he's signed for next year too, so now is the time to take a look.

Probably because he can't hit or defend.

    Xavier Paul: kinda bad.

I certainly hope he can break out and have a monster game....the Reds could really use it.

Where have you gone, Mr. Scott Rolen? Flava Fraz ain't the player we thought ... no, no, no.

It is kind of neat to watch Frazier put up nearly identical numbers to Rolen's last year and not take 1/100th of the grief.

Agree that moving mes up was good...but still don't get dusty writing in a weak bat at #2.
