I looked on reds.com and still don't see that Broxton has been activated. Has anyone heard anything?

Is it a given Heisey will be kept around?

Reds activate Broxton, option Villareal
CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati Reds activated reliever Jonathan Broxton from the 15-day disabled list before Wednesday's game against Oakland.
RHP Pedro Villareal was optioned to Triple-A Louisville to make room on the roster for Broxton, who had been on the disabled list since June 15 with a strained right elbow. He was 2-2 with a 4.33 ERA before his injury.
Villareal appeared in one game after being recalled from Louisville for the third time this season on Saturday.

Broxton has not been available, may be good to go tonight.

“He hasn’t been [available],” Baker said Wednesday. “I think he’s OK tonight but he wasn’t OK last night or the night before.”
Baker would not disclose the issue with Broxton specifically. Broxton missed nearly two months with a strain in his elbow and returned on Aug. 7.
“It’s similar stuff,” Baker said. “We just have to take care of him.
“Hopefully he is available tonight. We need him tonight. Our bullpen is kind of spent.”
It's too bad Broxton is still ailing, he's been looking real good.
I actually thought he might close on Monday, with Chapman having pitched so much.
Sounds real bad for Broxton.

Yeah that doesn't sound good at all.
Wow not looking good for Big Brox. Tough loss for the pen that may extend well into 2014.
It's going to be real interesting to see what happens with the pen in the playoffs.

are all locks. Then you have guys like Cingrani, Marshall, and maybe even Cueto. It'll be interesting to see how it shakes out.
Wow. He described the feeling as a "knife in the belly of my forearm." That definitely does not sound good. Strangely poetic, too.
The $17-25 million left on that contract is looking even uglier now. For the good of the club and Brox as well I hope he can eventually get back into the kind of form he was a few years ago, but the chances seemed slim before he had what looks to be a major elbow injury. Now ... I dunno.
"He looked like a surfer kid from SoCal," manager Dusty Baker says. "He didn't say much, but you could tell he was cool."
That sounds worse than I feared, and I already feared it to be bad.
"No matter how good you are, you're going to lose one-third of your games. No matter how bad you are you're going to win one-third of your games. It's the other third that makes the difference." ~Tommy Lasorda
