"But I do know Joey's sister indirectly (or foster sister) and I have heard stories of Joey being into shopping, designer wear, fancy coffees, and pedicures."
The moral of the story: Winning baseball is long periods of .500 ball with spurts of winning streaks and minimizing spurt losing streaks. There is nothing mediocre about being 17 over.
Can't win with 'em

The base running errors need to stop. Please make them stop.
Big series starts tonight. I'm excited to get things going!

Moving time should get back into the swing of things tonight. Jeff Manship starting for Colorado means the Reds really should win tonight and move a game closer to either Pittsburgh or St. Louis.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
I wouldn't count on the Reds doing much in Denver to gain ground. Teams with good offenses are the Reds' kryptonite.
The only moving the Reds are apparently going to do is on a treadmill, staying right at .500
like they have since late May. Walt's moving over from his right side to his left side while
sleeping the summer away.
