    Was watching LA/Stl and...

Shelby Miller was taken out of the game after 2 pitches. Apparently he got drilled by a Carl Crawford comebacker in the elbow.

And Jake Westbrook just gave up a 6 spot in the 2nd. Good day to be an anti-Cardinals fan.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

That's good. I certainly don't lose sleep when the Cards lose, but I don't wish an injury on anyone.

Westbrook was tomorrow's pitcher. Wonder what they do about that.

Martinez scheduled to start in AAA. May bring him up to fill in being proposed on twitter by several people covering the cards.

    Yeah...he will probably throw a two-hit shutout.

I usually don't watch blowouts, but I enjoyed seeing the dirty birds get knocked around last night until I went to bed, esp. after they pooped on us last weekend.

Amazing Miller didn't get more than a bruise out of that.
