    Adam Dunn cleared waivers

The Reds could use an upgrade at shortstop. Just sayin.
". . . acquiring J. Blanton from Oakland for, apparently, Bailey/Cueto, Votto and a lesser prospect. I do it in a second . . . The Reds' equation this year is simple: Make Matt Belisle your #3 starter . . . trade for Blanton, win 85 or more, be in the mix all summer." - Paul Daugherty, Feb. 8, 2008

He was pretty kirpsy the other day against the yanks, a sac fly and a game tying hit in the 9th.
    Go Gators!

Josh Johnson cleared waivers as well....now there's a guy to kick the tires on imo....I'd imagine despite his poor season that he'll get some attention from a few contenders

Good to see that he has finally learned how to hit sac flies!
I know a lot of people are talking about his on-base percentage (.308 in 2008), but I like to think more in terms of him his in-scoring position percentage. - Our Beloved Manager

3 lefties back to back. Can't happen, bro.

    I bet you would see

    Choo
    Frazier
    Votto
    Phillips
    Bruce
    Dunn
    Mes
    Cozart

    Or something equally as absurd.

Why ignore his first 54 games?

If Dunn was added to the roster, Dusty's head would explode from trying to figure out where to place all the lefties.

Because if his last 60 games had been anything like his first 54 no one would care that he cleared waivers. I'm not sure that anyone cares as it is but just saying.
