Cingrani's got to be looking around the diamond for somebody to suck out the poison....he's got to be feeling snakebit right now.

Yet people want to argue Votto hasn't been bad defensively this year. It's not just the errors (and my is he racking up the errors for a first baseman). There have been many other plays this season -- like the one we just saw -- where he could have been charged an error but wasn't.
Simply put: Votto's defense has regressed. There is no debating this.
