That's just a real good 3-2 pitch right there.

This guy would be crazy to pitch to Bruce here.

Smart move. 3-0 to Jay...IBB and pitch to Paul.

Xavier smokes one, but right at second. 2 left stranded.

    damnit
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Telling you: It all started going downhill for him when he said he wanted his first name pronounced "EGG-xavier."

Especially in Cincinnati, not a good move, man.

Keep in mind this is a Padres team without two of their main players.

Wait, don't keep that in mind. Stay sane.

    Holliday homers. 3-1 St. Louis.

Jack Hannahan is completely worthless. I can't believe he's even in the Majors.

Again: At least there's no risk in losing him after this year! (We have to laugh ... or we'll cry.)

Wow. Okay, that's an error Hannahan really deserves.

Frazier finally breaks out of his slump, and Dusty sits him in favor of Hannahan, who is killing the team tonight.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

What happened to my fundamentally sound Redlegs this year?
