This is one of the worst fundamentally played games by the Reds I've seen in years. Last one like this was also against the Padres a few years ago. It prompted a team meeting and then a huge winning streak. So we've got that going for us.

I mentioned this earlier tonight and got shot down. And things have gotten worse since then.

Bruce would have been nailed at the plate if he had tried to tag on that. Which begs the question of what was Paul even thinking?

Half the team just might be high tonight.

They're playing horribly tonight, no doubt about that. I don't see this on a regular basis, tho.

They would be performing much better. That has to be a low estimate.

4 errors, a wild pitch and a couple of base running blunders...stellar saturday night viewing...

At what point Does Hatcher have some blame in X tagging? He might have been yelling don't go but man...you have to see the ball go to the plate before going...
Not this year...maybe a Wild Card

Re: Reds v. Padres 8/10/13 - Yes, Cozart is batting second

I'm sorry, but I can't help but wonder how this game would have turned out if Frazier had started and batted second, and Chris Heisey had played left.

Cozart is 0 for 3 with 2 Ks in the two hole, and Hannahan has had a historically bad night. Paul has an error in the field and on the bases.

To quote the great Gordon Gee: "They're running around lost like the Polish Army out there."
