So, either it wasn't a strike, or the ump has a floating zone. Either way, bad job.
Eyeball agrees with you, PitchFX...not so much.

    Cubs tied it up 4-4.

We could be up 4-2 to the Cubs and just allow them to tie it up. After losing to them last night.

Same pitch Votto was called out on. Ball when LeCure throws it.

    THIS UMP!

Apparently Logan Forsythe has more clout in Cincinnati than Votto per this joke of an ump.

I'm wondering what was on the buffet table to effect so many tonight.

It wasn't the same pitch. Totally different pitch.

I do agree that the ump's zone has been erratic. Tight sometimes. Rarely wide though.

I do not care for this strike zone.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

He's always struck out a fair amount. For his career, he's struck out 18.5% of his Plate Appearances. This year he's at 18.9%

OK, not same PITCH, but exact same location.

And then LeCure just gets a strike on the exact same pitch that was a ball two batters ago. Consistency, baby.

And if you guys think this game thread is grumpy should go check out a Cards message board. Darwin Barney just clowned them, I'm guessing it isn't going well in those threads either.
