    ugh, freakin jerko
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

That was the pre-July BP approach to hitting. Very nice.
Rounding third and heading for home...

Phillips gunned easily trying to steal.

Phillips hopes to duplicate Choo's feat; gets thrown out.

Looked like BP got his hand in there to me. Ball clearly beat him, but I think the ump missed that call.

Also ... BP is trying to steal bases again? What?

Brandon Phillips should never try to steal. Another fun fact.

we have the slowest team in MLB... heck, even when we had Stubbs he did not steal like he should of with his speed. Of course, when your only on base once a week it's hard to steal.

Dusty doesn't seem to have ever heard of the phrase "don't push your luck".

Someone less lazy than I am should figure out Brandon's slash line the last 7 games or so. Seems like he's been doing a lot better at the plate lately.
