Too bad we don't have a record-setting steals man waiting in the wings at AAA or anything.

especially with such a pull hitter as Bruce is. The whole was wide open on the right side with the first basemen covering.
Not this year...maybe a Wild Card

That said, it's beyond ridiculous I have to watch the Reds on non-HD while the Crew is on the HD channel. The Reds get exponentially better ratings IN COLUMBUS than the Crew do. It's not even close. Way to take care of your customers!
I checked all the ALT channels, and it's half naked men beating the crap out of each other.

Cubs with an early 1-0 lead on St. Louis.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Watch the replay, throw was high and I think BP got his hand in there before the tag. If anything, it was bang-bang.

She looks fine and all, but Jeeze her voice is annoying... And she made me miss a pitch.

do you think he will be called up in September? You can't steal 1st...can he get on base in the majors?

Maybe then. I don't have DVR thanks to TWC's ridiculous fees for them.

Defense certainly didn't do Tony any favors in the first inning...but the Padres are hitting the ball like they're swinging sticks of dynamite. Ball is exploding off their bats.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

I think he can. He's having a better year for a first-year AAA player than most are giving him credit for. That's a tough transition for most young players and he's only 22. He's still having a solid year. I don't ever expect him to be a perennial All-Star, but I think he's going to help the Reds win a lot of games over the next several years.

And yes, I think he will be a September callup.

Cingrani works pretty much as beautiful of an inning as you can.

Quick 1-2-3-- definitely needed that after last inning.
