I'm shaking my head. Robinson gets a first pitch fastball just over belt high and gives it a good ride (especially for him) and people are questioning the approach?

A fastball down the middle is exactly what any hitter should hope for. He absolutely should have swung at that pitch.

It feels like Denorfia bats every inning.

    Ondrusek...this probably won't end well.

I didn't even realize LeCure hadn't pitched yet. I would have brought him in, especially with the pitcher's spot not due up.

Well like I said, the game was already over in the 8th inning. You can't lose a game twice. So we shouldn't fret this inning.

Simon threw 26 pitches yesterday and 21 the day before, so he is probably unavailable.

    It was all a dream?

Ondrusek realizes that he was dead the entire time and that's why the boy told him he could see dead people?

Ondrusek wakes up at home and realizes that he never went to Oz...or did he?

How was that not an attempted bunt there? He kept the bat out there and didn't pull it back. You don't have to stab at it.

The quality of umpiring has felt really bad to me this year.

At least the Reds only have 1 pitcher that make us feel that way.

    NO.

It was written in 1918 by Irving Berlin while he was serving in the U. S. Army. He revised the song in 1938 specifically to fit the voice of Kate Smith, a friend of his.
