Jose Ortiz is quickly becoming a prospect to watch. Will be interesting to see what he can do in Dayton next year.

Jocketty on base 5 of 17. Better than Cozart right?
Attended 1976 World Series in my Mother's Womb. Attended 1990 World Series Game 2 as a 13 year old. Want to take my son to a a World Series Game in Cincinnati in my lifetime.

Joe Jocketty may or may not already know his future is in the front office. However, everyone else around him knows it is. He was clearly brought on for his front office potential, and I don't think some borderline prospects getting 3 less plate appearances is too much to pay. Besides, having professional experience adds a lot of credibility and understanding of how baseball works in the big leagues. It's no big deal and serves some benefit. Look at how many PAs Justin Tordi got, and everything still turned out fine.
