Real Madrid just snagged Casemiro for 5 million. How is Arsenal not in on a player like that?

Pretty much the entire Bundesliga is doing a better job than Arsenal of finding low cost, high impact players.
Can't believe how many people still give Wenger a pass.

    Squillaci
    Denilson
    Chamakh
    Gervinho

All recent signings, none of which panned out.

Awesome. Gibbs already out injured. The bench includes Gnabry and Frimpong. How can people honestly defend lack of spending.

What a horrid penalty decision against Arsenal in the 62nd minute.

5TimeWSChamps, here is an excellent and balanced article about Arsenal's spending.

Hilarious. Aaron Ramsey is playing CB the first match of the season. And I read the article, I don't care. This is an absolute joke

So in Match 1 you have a RB playing LB and a CM playing CB. But yeah, great job not spending!

After watching this display, I'm coming around to the anti-Wenger position. That said the chants being thrown his way are uncalled for. 17 consecutive years in the top four deserves more respect.

And here's a more balanced article about how much money they have and aren't spending.

I was able to watch a match, inside a department store on my phone, while my wife was buying new clothes for the upcoming school year.

This new NBC deal is just amazing.

Also, Oxlade-Chamberlain may have torn his ACL, and Gibbs/Sagna may be out for extended amount of time.

But yeah, kudos to Wenger for not foolishly spending any money.
