Since you're in Columbus, root for the Crew. Go to the games, learn some chants, have a blast. My recommendation for Euro teams is just watch a lot of games. Root for one of the teams in a given game, but give yourself some time to pick a true favorite. There's a lot of different styles of play, different ways teams put themselves together, different fan cultures. No reason to rush into any sort of commitment.

And watch every World Cup game you can this summer.

I plan on going to some Crew games. I was fortunate enough to go to the USA Mexico qualifier last year and it was probably the most exciting sporting event I've ever been to. I wish I would've given soccer a chance years ago.

    Columbus has Ohio State. That's

They should be forbidden from having other nice things.

So, ten games left and only four points separate Chelsea and Liverpool at the top of the table, and Chelsea still has to go to Anfield. Should be an interesting finish.

Got to wonder if Arsene Wenger has studied Branch Rickey. I was watching Man U unimpressive vs. Liverpool this morning and it looks like the air is coming out of Robin Van Persie. Definitely better to move a player a year too early than a year too late. Along the same lines, Man U was crazy for not selling Rooney last summer and even crazier for handing him a monster contract.

ManU didn't even show up. You have to question leadership to a certain degree. It was obvious who the better manager is yesterday. The race for the league title is going to be tight down the stretch.

I love Jose Mourinho -- but the Blues are starting to take on a little bit of his crazy. They completely lost their composure after the second yellow (an awful call, incidentally) on Willian against Villa.

Yeah it is really too bad all those guys are going to miss the game against Arsenal next weekend

Yeah -- though, I'm not tremendously happy with Willian. There's a lot of effort and energy from him with very little result.

The biggest loss is still David Luiz. The defensive play hasn't been the same without him.

I did a happy dance when Mou left Madrid. Never in my life did I want a door to hit a manager harder (not even Russ Nixon). It will be interesting to see if he can burn through this Chelsea team inside of a single season.

I really can't blame Moyes for what's happening. Sir Alex had ManU riding on fumes the past two seasons. It was brilliant management, but SAF left when he did because he knew that was the end of the run for that team. Who in that squad do you want there for a future run at league and European titles? Mata? Januzaj? De Gea? Wellbeck? Phil Jones? Rafael? That's hardly a championship core. Everyone else strikes me as old or expendable. They need some radical upgrades. Seems like the war room guys wanted to give this squad one more shot in 2013-14 when they should have been after players like Ozil, Thiago, Marquinhos and Garay.

I keep saying it, but I'm loving Liverpool. I was a fan when I played in HS, but could never watch them. We used to have these English coaches come in and work with our team one week a year, and they talked up Liverpool. Now that I can follow them every week, watch them wherever with the new NBC sports app, I've really enjoyed the league. Moreso than the NFL, I'd much rather watch a game, and be done by noon on Sunday, and have the rest of the day with my kids. I ordered 3 polos, a scarf, and a hoody off of Liverpool's site this weekend, got some great deals. I'm seriously considering going and watching them in Charlotte on 8/2.

Some of those 2 for 22 GBP shirts? I got a couple of those. Have to have something to wear up to Chicago in July.
