Great run. His and Parra's improvement (or normalization, whatever it is) has really turned the bullpen back into what we thought we were getting.

Which part of myrtle? The wife and I are going to north myrtle beach for Labor Day weekend. I haven't been to myrtle in over a decade.

Cards again fail to score. That game is headed to the 12th

I will accept nothing less than 15 innings from this game. Too bad they don't have a day game tomorrow.

We are in the Surfside area (south), which we like because it's less crowded, but I'm old and don't like the traffic up north. It's changed so much you won't recognize it. But no Reds here unfortunately.

In a hypothetical world, I wish you could name names.

Votto looked either hurt or dogged it in running to first. Either one isn't good

I hope Donnie Murphy is a short-timer for the Cubs. Although his defensive gaffe was a huge factor, he fills in for the injured Luis Valbuena, who has also picked the Reds as the team to be a "killer," and starts spraying fastballs all over Wrigley Field. Watching his home run trot, reminded me of Ron Cey, who was very annoying as well.
