I am worried the offense is not going to show up for Alabama and its going to be up to the Bama defense to seal a 17-16 like win......
You really think Ole Miss will beat Texas? Has that program fallen that far?

Texas gave up 550 yards ON THE GROUND to BYU. Oh, and Ole Miss doesn't suck.

It would not surprise me if OM finishes second in the west.

Yup. The freshman are impressive for Ole Miss.

After hearing what was said in court today, I don't want Chris Boyd to ever take the field in a VU uniform again and I'm not real sure about the starting QB and TE. Really disgusting stuff.

Faculty serving on the student misconduct committees at major universities typically are provided access to free counseling services.

What college-aged students do to one another is heartbreaking.

For sure. A good family friend works as one of the rape crisis counselors in Oxford, OH. She's a saint just to hear those young women tell their stories.

As to the VU mess, it's really sucking the joy out of this season for me (and other VU fans). I wouldn't care if Franklin goes to Texas or USCwest or wherever at this point. I'd rather go 2-10 than deal with this. I'm heading to Williams-Brice tomorrow, gritting my teeth about hearing what GC fans have to say.

David Ash isn't going to be cleared to play for the Longhorns. Now say this game isn't even close.

I never blame coaches for stuff like this. I get upset when they defend the players after the facts are released. a good example of this is how Ron Zook defended his players to the end over dui's and on campus fights while at Florida.

I just watched one of the most incompetent calls by a referee in NCAA history. An Alabama cornerback/safety was wrongly penalized for a perfectly legitimate hit on an A&M receiver. The replay official did overturn the ejection of the Alabama defensive back for the erroneous call that he had targeted the receiver but the 15 yard penalty stood.

The penalty CAN'T be overturned. It's a dumb rule but the refs got it right.

This just in.... The Vols aren't good. At all. Oregon is on pace for 900+ yards and 70 pts.

This seems to be the "college football outside the Ohio area" thread so I will put this here:

    ASU-Wisconsin ending:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQmNYPOgx40

This is absolutely embarrassing for all of college football. The refs don't throw a delay of game penalty on the ASU player, the refs don't let Wisconsin snap the ball, and they don't explain or review anything. Awful.

It's actually the SEC Football discussion thread.
