This is absolutely embarrassing for all of college football. The refs don't throw a delay of game penalty on the ASU player, the refs don't let Wisconsin snap the ball, and they don't explain or review anything. Awful.
This is on the refs, but the Wisconsin qb didn't help with his lighting quick kneel down (if he even touched) and then leaving the ball on the field, hand it to the ref.
    Go Gators!

Ole Miss sure doesn't suck. They've shown up well in recruiting. My comment had more to say about Texas than Miss. I think Mack Brown's in big trouble. Tjhat school's program should not be as bad as it is. Reminds me of Mich a few yrs back

That was a horrible performance by the Vols. Wasn't even watchable and for me that's saying something. I don't care that they were playing the #2 team on the road, new coach etc, etc. They have to be play better than that. This shows you where Butch Jones is starting. Hopefully we can look back at this years from now and marvel at how far they've come.

That would be more appropriate for a Big Ten thread but I agree with you. The refs blew that and arguably determined who won and who lost

Do you know how the rankings were compiled?

C'mon man, those rankings are stupid. You can't just disregard everything that happens on the field. If you watched any football in the last 12 months it should be obvious that Navy is not the ninth best team this year.

Correction....the poll argues Navy is the 9th most deserving thus far....

Sure, but his answer is a question:

Do you know how the rankings were compiled?

Yes, and because of it the rankings are completely and utterly meaningless until fairly deep into the season.

In a nutshell, all teams start out ranked evenly. Margin of victory doesn't count, nor does the setting. A win helps your rating, a loss hurts your rating. A win by anyone you played helps your rating, a loss by anyone you played hurts your rating. Does that sound about right?

Sounds like Auburn envy to me.
