That's a meanspirited lie. He was in the ballpark at 2:30 sharp every day. Granted, he then slept in his locker room recliner until 6:45, but it's just mean to act like he wasn't in the park at all!

I know a lot of people are talking about his on-base percentage (.308 in 2008), but I like to think more in terms of him his in-scoring position percentage. - Our Beloved Manager

You mean you just don't log onto B-R or Fangraphs from your iPhone and go from there?

So if a night games goes long, and there is a day game the next day, does Dusty just sleep in the tub or something?

    Preparing Joey's coffee takes time.

Always loved that story. Place is reportedly showing a lot of age these days, but that would have been pretty cool back in the day.

Related question: Why do fans show up hours before the game and then complain the game is too long?
"But I do know Joey's sister indirectly (or foster sister) and I have heard stories of Joey being into shopping, designer wear, fancy coffees, and pedicures."

Baseball is a culture, it's a life. On the road or at home some guys live in the clubhouse, I want those guys on my side

For 6 months out of the year, this is his life. His ONLY life.

    I'd be there early too.

I'd be there early too, but let's be honest, it is completely unnecessary

I watched our bullpen guys go through warm-ups in Texas...they were burning about as many calories "warming up" as I was watching them.
