    MLB rankings for intentional walks:

    1. Reds - 51
    2. Dodgers - 36

The Reds have received quite a few IBB's this year.

I don't think I've ever seen a second baseman snag a looping liner that far beyond the bag. Where the heck was that guy positioned before the swing???

I got burnt twice that inning. I was sure BP's shot was out of the park, and I was sure Ludwick's liner was a hit.

Didn't lead to anything ultimately but he tagged that ball so I doubt he isn't happy with his swing there.

Have to admit I'm still feeling left down from the top of the 1st. Hopefully the Reds aren't too.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

It took me a few moments to register what had happened. Him catching that ball was the furthest thing from my mind.

Cingrani's fastball is really amazing to watch. When he's on, hitters just simply can't pick the ball up out of his hand.
