My goodness. I think Choo makes some of the most headscratching baserunning decisions I've ever seen. Luckily this one works out.

I really don't understand this team's thoughts on the base paths sometimes

the perils of playing for one run
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

There's definitely risk involved but they gave themselves a great chance of scoring playing it the way they did. Just didn't get it done.

I don't know that it is all that exclusive to Cingrani.

I love, love, love this pitching staff -- especially the rotation.
I thought last year's was the best Reds staff of my lifetime (I'm 50), but with the addition of Cingrani, it's gotten even deeper.
