Reds +81 RS/RA third in NL although team winning percentage is fifth in NL. Reds 18-18 in one-run games and 9-8 in extra inning games. Reds 5.5 games up on Arizona in wild card hunt. Reds overall record 16 games over .500 at 68-52.

Offense - Despite the great won-lost record the main offensive percentages declined. OPS down to .714, still above NL average. SLG down a bit to .324, above NL average. BA down to .247, below league average. SLG slightly down to .390, just at league average. wOBA is .313 down from .316 last time. OPS+ is now 93, below NL average. wRC+ is 94 tied for sixth-eighth.
Phillips and Bruce second and fourth in the league in RBIs, respectively, with 90 and 80. Bruce fifth in HRs with 24, team is fifth in the league in HRs at 114. Votto fourth in the league at .320 BA. Choo second on team with .273 BA. Votto and Choo are still one, two in OBP, Joey at .433 and Choo at .408. Votto is second in league in runs scored and Choo tied for third, Votto with 81 and Choo with 78.

Pitching - Reds team ERA is 3.35 fourth in NL. Starters ERA is 3.31 second in league, Reds now lead both Pirates and Cards in that department, but Dodgers starting pitching ERA has taken the league lead. Reds bullpen at 3.45, a bit worse than last time, now sixth in the NL.
Reds are third in pitching WAR at 13.3. Reds are sixth in FIP at 3.62. When you use xFIP (neutralizing for home runs), Reds are tied with Braves for league lead at 3.60.
Some individual stats. Chapman now fifth in the NL with 29 saves. Leake at 2.86 ERA, ninth among NL qualifiers; Cingrani at 2.87; Latos at 3.04. Arroyo with 17 quality starts tied for 8th-10th in league. Latos with 16 quality starts. Bailey seventh in league among qualifiers in K/BB ratio at 4.25. Latos with 12 wins, Arroyo 11, Leake 10. Looking at K rate per nine innings, Latos at 9 even, Bailey 8.83, ninth and tenth in league among qualifiers.
