I know he's easing him back in, but I'm surprised that Ludwick is sitting against a lefty.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Surprised not to see Todd in the two hole, especially after the game he had in Chicago.
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.
I usually can figure out the reasoning for these batting orders, or so I think.
This one has me stumped. Maybe trying to get Heisey going. The two spot seems to be the "get guys going" spot on the Reds.
I would have left Frazier second until Ludwick moves back to fourth, Phillips second.
just when you feel like you can figure it out....you can't
Would've liked to see Ludwick play too.
He has no hits, but has hit the ball hard. (It was so sad to see him robbed of what should've been a 2 run single last night)
I think at this point in the season, it's more important to try to get Ludwick going than to try to get Heisey going.
Would've kept Frasier #2 while it was working too.
Oh well, Dusty has been spinning the magic lately. Hopefully another win
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob
Nov. 13, 2007: One of the greatest days in Reds history: John Allen gets the boot!
Choo gets ob. Heisey bunts. Two chances to score. The rest of the lineup makes sense.

How about a date in the thread title. Makes it easier to archive/follow up.

Gomez out tonight, day to day after injury last night.
Gorzelanny is a lefty with a lifetime 4.24 ERA who was with the Pirates, Cubs, Nats, and now the Brewers. Choo grounds up the middle, easily thrown out at first.
