Very tough at bat there, now Ramirez lines to Bruce. Throw to first too late. One out.

    Agree

Heisey in CF makes that play.

Bruce got a spectacular jump on that ball.

Francisco is now up. Mike, don't give him anything too good.

One on, one out. Reds lead by one. Fifth inning.

2-1 count on Francisco. Foul. Full. K.

That's how you pitch Francisco. Nice breaking ball by Leake.

Kris Davis up. Strike one. Leake at 79 pitches. Single to left. Two on, two out, Davis is tough tonight. Scooter coming up.

This should probably be Leake's last batter. He doesn't have his best stuff tonight, although the defense hasn't played well.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

Reds catch a huge break on a baserunning blunder! 5-4 Reds after five innings.

Janette is the hitter. Singles but Brewers run themselves out of inning. Three outs.

Escaped that inning for one reason...the threat of Choo's arm. It caused the baserunning mistake.

On that play, the runner on second, Lucroy, decided not to run on Choo. But Davis didn't realize this and headed for third. So there were two Brewers around third base and eventually Lucroy was forced to run and Mes tagged him out.

Sixth inning coming. Reds need to get the pen ready.
