    Francisco plays two spots!
Attended 1976 World Series in my Mother's Womb. Attended 1990 World Series Game 2 as a 13 year old. Want to take my son to a a World Series Game in Cincinnati in my lifetime.

I recall this pitcher throwing some good games for the Cubs against the Reds. Heisey is up, swinging away as usual, 0-2 count. A .202 BA, time for Chris to get it going.

Now count at 2-2. Brewers announcer says Reds are a patient hitting team. Well, he's right for some of them, but an odd comment with Heisey up.

Liner, soft, right to pitcher, two outs.

Votto now up, lefty on lefty, Brewers announcers note that against lefties Votto is .275 BA this year. Much higher against righties this year.

    Votto gets ahead 3-1.

Apparently Pirates lead is now 2-1 over Arizona. Votto walks.

Phillips up. Infield hit down third base line. Nice play by Ramirez to save a double.

Goodness gracious the Brewers are playing the some defense so far in this series. Aramis Ramirez saved a run there.

Ok, first and second, two out, Bruce up. 1-1 count after a foul ball.

Bruce hitting .417 against this lefty lifetime. 3-1 count now on Jay. Now full.

Brewer announcer says Reds are best team in NL on paper.

    Bruce walks, bases loaded.

Same situation as last night, Frazier up instead of Ludwick though.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Bases loaded. Even if we get nothing, still a solid inning

Frazier hacks at a breaking ball around the ankles.

Bruce laid off some tough sliders in that atbat. Great atbat to draw the walk. Frazier immediately swung at a bad first pitch.
