Cozy with a rocket to left. Okay, what's going on tonight?!?

Votto, Bruce & Mesoraco all hitless tonight. All the hits from the supporting cast.

And my internet connection is apparently in a time warp.

Parra came in with a double switch. So Hanigan came in.

Some folks say that Hanigan has reasonable speed for a catcher, but since last year I'd disagree.

Choo strikes out. Three outs, bottom eighth a'coming.

Wow! that was a disaster of an inning.

I love bunting...when players are able to execute it properly. Few really can anymore. Many try. Few are any good at it.

Who are these people? I'm a huge Hanigan fan...but he's monumentally slow...pretty much always has been.

Hannigan would be pretty good in a Designated Catcher league.
Yes that was a very impressive infield single. I thought for a second it was leaving the yard. - texasdave 10/13/12

With Schafer a lefty coming up, maybe Parra stays in the game for at least one more batter.

They could pinch hit a righty, which could then lead to a pitching change.

Let's see how the wheels turn. It will be Parra against Schafer.

    Zero SB for his career

I've read it on here, don't remember who.

2-0 count on Schafer. Hoover in the pen.

Now 2-1. Don't walk this guy, Manny.

People who grew up watching baseball in the 90's and on have solid reasoning for hating the bunt. I haven't seen many who are even halfway decent at it since the 70's & 80's.

Fly to Heisey, one out, and now Betancourt will hit and Hoover will be the new pitcher.

Exactly what I was alluding to. Older era players knew how to bunt, especially the fringy types. Today's players - almost none of them can do it well.
