    In SD, Denorfia with the worst defensive play I have ever seen a RF make allows two runs to score.

    Molina's 4th hit of the game, but wiped out in DP, but Cards score 2 more anyway on a 2run 2B by PH'er Fresse...Cards 8 to 5 now in 8th

    Prior to this game, Wacha had pitched 3 scoreless innings in relief with 7 strikeouts and 0 hits or walks allowed...but like with all rookies, he is bound to struggle here and there.

    It was nice while it lasted. Score is now 8-5 Cards in the 9th.

    Pittsburgh up 2-0 on the Padres at the end of the 4th.
