Curious about the comments Mitch made about Dave Hollins and how he would've reacted. I don't recall any incidents with Hollins being a rounder or ready to smack anybody given the chance. I'd like to hear those stories.

Does anyone remember Ricky Henderson's home run trot? He could have been called for delay of game and being outside the base path. But at least he was moving.

All these years I thought his name was ma-Holme, turns out it is ma-hol-em.

Gomez- what a punk move. Braves should have just old him to look at the standings.

Gomez is a dingbat, but who died and made Brian McCann the bastian of home run rules?

Watch Reed Johnson closely. He takes a shot at Gomez and then grabs a coach (Pendleton?) and uses him as a shield so he doesn't have to fight (almost acting like Pendleton is in his way). Pretty funny stuff.

McCann is just jealous because his career is on the decline.

It's silly to get that angry at a guy watching his homerun. If guys watching homeruns makes you that angry, get them out. Don't complain or start fights. The Braves look like whiny pansies.

Re: Scoreboard Watching 2013 (Part 3)

Watching home runs is fine, but Gomez didn't just watch it, he savored it, waiting until it cleared the fence before starting to round the bases. Very bush league. McCann definitely overreacted, but he and the Braves had every right to be angry. Gomez has a lot of learning to do, and the lessons are going to be painful.

So what if Gomez savored it? If you don't want him savoring homeruns, get him out. Starting fights just shows how immature the Braves are.

McCann should have let him cross the plate, gave him an earful and then had him drilled in the numbers with the first pitch of his next at bat.

Gomez is going to get himself hurt.
    sorry we're boring

I'd say he did. If a guy HRs of your pitcher and shows him up and talks $#^ ! all the way around the bases, that's what you expect your catcher to do.
Rounding third and heading for home...

You're living in a bizarre alternate reality if you watched that incident and claim the Braves "started a fight."
