I know he's amazing but now that Metallica has started playing 'Enter Sandman' live, I'd say this celebration for Mariano Rivera has gotten a little over the top.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Will he have to buy a separate house just to store all of these rocking chairs?

I thought it was pretty cool ... And funny considering he didn't ask for the song to be played when he came into games and he's not a fan of Metallica.

Metallica played in the NYC area last night, which been scheduled for awhile, so this has been the worst kept secret in baseball.

With the Nats losing earlier today that clinched a playoff spot for the Cards. If the Nats lose tonight it will all but wrap up things as far as playoff teams.

Brewers up 4-0 after two. Long way to go, especially with the Brewers one. However, having a Joe Kelly as your most reliable starter going into the playoffs is a mixed blessing.

Looks like the kid is getting tired. Too bad. (Westbrook is lurking)

4-3 Brewers now and they are lucky to still have the lead.

Yes indeed. They could have put up a ton there.

Just knew the Cardinals would rally. Clicked off ESPN MLB long enough to read some things about the Bengals.... sure enough... now its 4-3. So frustrating.

Lead off triple likely not going to lead to anything.

Cards are gonna pull it out I'm afraid.
